Anywhoozle, I just found out a certain program that our GI Bill supports annnd it's great great news for ocean lovers.
Open Water Student to Divemaster
" We have implemented a program that will take someone from an Open Water Diver to a Divemaster, the first professional level of recreational scuba diving.
We are currently VA approved to use GI Bill benefits for this program and we have applied for and are working on our national school accrediation which will alow us to accept Tuition Assistance for this program. We are hoping to have this available for the Summer of 2013.
Our Program includes the following courses:"
- Open Water
- Advanced Open Water
- Enriched Air Nitrox
- Wreck Diver
- Equipment Specialty
- Search & Recovery
- PADI/Dan Oxygen Provider
- On-site Neuro, Emergency First Responder and First Aid
- Rescue Diver
- Divemaster Prep
- Divemaster
Now.... HOW FRAKIN AWESOME IS THAT ! The only thing is.... i'm honestly not sure if this is nation wide, or specific to dive shops / headquarters. Ya know.... im a fun guy, so if your state doesn't support this you can always come to NC and dive with me.

I know a lot of my buddies that have the GI Bill and do not use it... this is a waste. I've been diving in : Portugal, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Colombia. Its peaceful and you'll grow to love it more and more with each dive.
