Can You Prevent Your Problems ?



What are some of the issues you mostly hear people talking about ?

- Money issues ?
- Don't feel good enough about themselves ?
- Do you feel like you cannot be a good enough parent ?
- Bored with their life ?

i'll give you my opinion on  these topics.  I'm no professional, but I do tend to sit back, pay attention and ponder if certain people can change the outcome or prevent their issues from happening.

I read a book once called "The Secret" and I learned one negative thought invites another negative thought in your head.  Keep this in mind.
      
Example... you could be having a crappy morning, you woke up late, forgot something at home blah blah.  When you finally make it to the office (or wherever) you may notice normal things getting on your nerves.  This is so contagious !!!  This is the negative thought process.  You find flaws or something negative throughout the whole day.

Usually when people talk to me about their problems (which is a lot for some reason) I think it's mostly so they can vent.  I don't believe I can say anything to make them feel better... BUT most of the time the issues or problems I hear are preventable.

If you're having money issues... I honestly believe you can do something about it.  Most people really have NO IDEA where their money goes.  Most people don't budget.  A lot of people are impulse buyers.  Figure out your debt to income ratio and plan ahead.  Here is a question... do you have a savings ?  This is critical in an emergency.  A lot of the time people ask me for money when they are having a hardship... is it wrong of me to say no ? When its legit it's noticeable, but like I said most of the time it's preventable.  A failure on your part does not mean an emergency on mine. Don't get me wrong, i'll help just about anyone as long as I see them putting forth the effort.

- You feel bad about yourself ?  Don't feel good enough ?  .... God made you the way he wanted.  You have certain features that will relate to your life in a significant way sooner or later.  Don't compare yourself to anyone.  Find a hobby (learn to cook something new even)  and think positive.  If you don't have any friends... guess who's fault that is.  Be kind to people (especially old people), teach others what you know... give your life a purpose, a meaning.  I bet then you'll find yourself feeling wonderful.
Here are some goals for the people who are feeling like they aren't good enough
- Bake some cookies or make some type of food and take everything to a homeless shelter 
- Call up an old friend and ask to catch up (even if they are busy ... you tried... try someone else)
- Create a bucket-list   and get started
- Volunteer yourself for Church activities 

Feel like you cannot be a good parent ?
- If you wonder about this, you're a good parent.... if you didn't care then you would be a bad parent.  If you want these feelings to change - ask someone for advice.  I'm no parent... if I was I would touch more on this.

Bored with your life ?
- Get off your lazy butt and do something

I wanted to touch on this because I hear these problems a lot when I call home.  I have my own problems.... I promise if you try things WILL get better.  Just gotta try
